The Artist:
Courtney Lyman is a nail designer and artist living in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, her love for nail art started as a young teen in 1997 when she got her first airbrushed full set of acrylics for prom. A few years later, while finishing college in 2002, she started working in a nail salon in Raleigh, North Carolina and begin experimenting with her own brand and free-hand nail art designs. For over twenty years Courtney has continued to express her creativity and love for nail art and using nail polish as a medium. Her work has been featured in nail & trade publications, trade shows, and in galleries across the U.S. In addition to making and collecting art, Courtney spends her free time back home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina combing the coast line for sea glass and pottery, primitive camping, and collecting vintage ‘Space Race’ kitchenware . Courtney lives in South Atlanta with her fiancé, their son Orion, and a crazy Orange cat named Iris.
